Jeff's intellectual property practice at MBBP will focus on protecting his clients' inventions and growing their intellectual property portfolios. He has experience in patent preparation and prosecution, patentability research, intellectual property strategy and portfolio development for clients in emerging technologies. Prior to joining the Firm, Jeff worked as an operations research patent examiner for the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
"I'm looking forward to applying my experience from the USPTO to MBBP's patent and trademark practices," said Jeff. "My experience from working at the USPTO provides me with a unique perspective that will be beneficial to my clients."
As a corporate associate, Liz guides her clients through mergers and acquisitions of all sizes, financings for startup and emerging growth companies, and venture capital investments. She graduated from Northeastern University School of Law, where she was a SJC Rule 3:03 certified student attorney for the Community Business Clinic, successfully representing small business startups, advising them on formation of entity and drafting their related startup documents. Liz also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Chief Justice Patti B. Saris of the U.S. District Court.
"I was a law clerk at MBBP during law school," Liz notes, "and I loved the large amount of corporate deals, from financings to mergers and acquisitions, that the Firm does on a regular basis. I’m thrilled to join the Firm as an associate where I look forward to counseling clients throughout all stages of their business deals."
