V.i. Labs Receives $8M in Preferred Stock Financing

WALTHAM, MA — V.i. Laboratories, Inc., a provider of software protection solutions for securing high-value and mission-critical applications has closed $8,000,000 in Series B funding. The financing was secured by Ascent Venture Partners of Boston, MA, Core Capital Partners of Washington, D.C., and Rockford Capital of Wilmington, DE.

Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton serves as outside counsel to V.i. Laboratories, and advised it in connection with the structuring, negotiation and documentation of this transaction, which closed October 30, 2007. Jonathan Gworek and Joseph Martinez were the attorneys on this deal.
