Jeffrey P. Somers Appointed Independent Trustee of Senior Housing Properties Trust

WALTHAM, MA — Attorney Jeffrey R. Somers has been appointed as an independent trustee of the Senior Housing Properties Trust (NYSE: SNH) to fill a vacancy on its board of trustees.

Attorney Somers has more than 30 years experience of diversified business law experience, including general corporate and securities matters; finance, M&A and international business transactions; securities laws compliance for investment advisers and broker-dealers; formation of private investment funds; and IP transfer and licensing.
