iRacing in Licensing and Partnership Agreement with NASCAR

WALTHAM, MA — iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, a web-based simulation service allowing motorsport enthusiasts to race head-to-head in precise replications of real-world cars and tracks, has entered into a license and partnership agreement with NASCAR, the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing.

The two organizations are joining forces to create a NASCAR-sanctioned online racing series, a new competition division that will be licensed by NASCAR and organized and hosted by iRacing. Beginning early in 2010, NASCAR fans anywhere in the world will be able to log onto the internet and compete against one another, as well as a number of NASCAR drivers, in an official NASCAR series featuring digital duplicates of real-world NASCAR cars and tracks in the most realistic NASCAR racing environment ever created.

Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton serves as counsel to iRacing.com and advised it in connection with the structuring, negotiation and documentation of this transaction. Michael J. Cavaretta was the lead attorney on this licensing and partnership agreement.
