Bob Shea Featured Speaker at SBANE's Employment Law Update 2008

WALTHAM, MA — Attorney Robert Shea will be a featured speaker at Employment Law Update 2008, as part of the human resources series from the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE) on Tuesday, February 5 in Waltham, MA.

The 2-hour morning program addresses changes in laws and important developments regarding the workplace in an interactive format. Topics will include: using independent contractors, "family responsibility" discrimination, enforcing (or avoiding) non-compete agreements, pros and cons of arbitration, duty to accommodate persons with disabilities, unlawful retaliation, wage-hour traps for the unwary, employee blogging, and background checks. Attorney Shea counsels businesses and individuals in all areas of employment and labor law.
