Lisa is a Registered Patent Attorney and a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property practice, specializing in all aspects of domestic and international patent protection. She has extensive experience advising clients with regard to the development and management of their patent portfolios in the U.S. and abroad, with particular attention to the integration of patent strategy with the business focus of the client to create valuable intellectual property assets.

In addition, Lisa’s practice is devoted to the analysis of patent issues in the context of opinions and due diligence, including freedom to operate analyses and opinions regarding patent infringement, scope, validity and enforceability. Prior to her law career Lisa worked as a veterinary technician and conducted drug dosage efficacy studies in the clinical microbiology and pathology departments at Michigan State University; she also worked at the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine. Before joining MBBP, Lisa was a partner in the corporate department at Ropes & Gray LLP, Boston, and was a shareholder at Hamilton, Brook, Smith & Reynolds, PC.
