A member of the firm’s Corporate Practice Group, Ryan advises emerging and middle-market companies spanning a variety of different industries at all stages of development. Ryan also has significant experience in debt finance transactions.
He is actively involved in helping privately-held businesses secure financing, both debt and equity, as well as negotiating licensing arrangements and strategic alliances. Ryan also provides counsel to clients on entity formation and corporate governance. Prior to joining MBBP, Ryan practiced law at a well-known global law firm based in Boston, where he focused on the debt component of leveraged buy-outs as well as working capital credit facilities. During law school, Ryan served as a student attorney at the Boston College Legal Assistance Bureau, where he counseled local non-profits and low income start-ups.
Outside the office
A true music buff, particularly in classic and alternative rock, during college Ryan was a member of a band that toured the dive-bar scene of Montreal.
