Mary Beth's general corporate and business practice focuses on representing technology-based companies from startup through liquidity event. Her practice includes advising clients with respect to angel financings, venture capital financings and mergers and acquisitions. She also provides general corporate advice to her clients on such matters as capital structure, corporate governance, joint ventures, strategic alliances, executive compensation and intellectual property. In addition to representing companies, Mary Beth also represents venture capital funds and other institutional investors in their investments in portfolio companies. 

Mary Beth is listed in the Chambers USA Guide to America's Leading Lawyers for Business for distinction in private equity law. She is also named as a 2007 Massachusetts SuperLawyers Rising Star for Business/Corporate Law as published in Boston magazine.

Prior to joining Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton, Mary Beth was an associate in the business law department of Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar, Boston.

Mary Beth is a 1989 cum laude graduate of Tufts University and a magna cum laude 1992 graduate of the New England School of Law, where she was executive lead articles editor for the New England Law Review.
