As an associate in the firm’s immigration practice, Grant advises companies, families, and individual workers throughout the United States on their complex immigration legal questions.

He has a wealth of experience filing nonimmigrant visas, including H-1B, L-1,   E-1/E-2, O-1, TN, B-1 Business, and J visas. He also has expertise in preparing family and employment-based green cards, including immediate relative, extraordinary ability, outstanding researcher, multinational manager, national interest waiver, and PERM-based filings.

Grant is a member of firm’s Life Sciences Practice Group. He is a regular contributor to the Immigration Alert newsletter, and he frequently presents on immigration topics at schools, consulates, and incubators. He provides pro bono representation to the families of members of the U.S. military through the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Military Assistance Program. He previously sat on the Boston Bar Association’s Immigration Section Steering Committee.

  • Represented Babbel, Inc. and Lesson Nine GmbH, a developer of cloud-based language learning software, in connection with transferring key staff to the United States to open and run a new U.S. subsidiary using L-1 and E-2 visas.
  • Represented LogMeIn, Inc., a leading cloud-based remote connectivity provider, in connection with the full range of immigrant and non-immigrant visa programs.
  • Represented Alacrita Consulting, a multi-national Life Sciences consulting company, in connection with one of its critical managers obtaining an immigrant visa (also called a “Green Card.”)
  • Assisted foreign nationals in obtaining family-based immigrant visas and in naturalizing as U.S. citizens.
